I can see why some would prefer infinity war, I'm undecided.
Infinity war is one plot thread. Tons of action.
Endgame is 3 very separate acts. Almost 3 films. Culminating with one of the most mental battles ever on film.
Infinity war left you with the fact that youd seen an epic where the bad guy wins.
Endgame leaves you with massive fan service and lots of emotion.

Seeing alot of people online saying they preferred infinty war.
I do think IW would appeal to the more casual fan alot more because it is just basically action non stop from start to finish whereas this one has alot more emotional development bringing several main character arcs full circle before all the crazy action scenes at the end.

The girl power thing was ludicrously over the top, they didn't even need to do it, Marvel have done a pretty decent job of equality towards women in these films already.
Google Thanos and click on the glove in the top right corner, don't worry if you haven't seen the film, it won't give any spoilers away

There are a lot of callbacks but only minor things that while huge fans will have really appreciated them it wont detract from the story,
According to something i saw online the films you NEED to see before endgame are
Captain america - first avenger
Captain america - civil war
Guardians of the galaxy
Avengers
Iron man 1
Black Panther
Captain marvel
Infinity war
I would day you dont need to see black panther that doesnt really tie in at all and i havent seen captain marvel and definitely didnt miss anything.
I would also add in you should probably see ant man and the wasp as he has a really big role in it

Didnt like the girl power thing they feel like they have to force in there making sure to get a scene with all the women teaming up to save the day, just feels forced.
